Originally from Oregon, Katy moved to Boise when she was a child and has been in love with the area ever since.
Katy obtained a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Boise State University in 2021 and began working with The Advocates shortly after graduating. Spending her time throughout college working in customer service, Katy has developed a love for connecting with and helping people.
As the training specialist, Katy is responsible for the continual training of the firm’s case managers to ensure they are providing the best client experience. She was a case manager for two years before transitioning into this role and has enjoyed the opportunity to teach new and existing case managers the ins and outs of the role. When Katy is outside of the office, she can often be found with a crochet hook and some yarn working on her next project, or snuggling up with her cat, Peaches, and a good book.
